Peter is an ENT surgeon scientist working as faculty at Stanford University, with an adjunct position at The University of Western Australia.

He is a founder of Auration Biotech, created out of Stanford's SPARK program, and also Flotherm, a device company created in Stanford University's Biodesign course. He acted as Principal Investigator for this device in its first trial and  consultants for a number of Bay Area medical device companies.
Kath is a physician and University of Western Australia MBA alumni. Currently she is the WA investment manager for Brandon Capital Partners that manages the Medical Research Commercialisation Fund. 

She was previously an investment manager at Stoneridge Ventures.

She has been a director of Cerulean medical and Dimerix and currently sits on Curtin University's commercialisation advisory board.

After completing his  law and commerce degrees at The University of Western Australia, Adam qualified as an intellectual property lawyer acting for global pharmaceutical companies and some of the world's leading innovators.  

He then transitioned to corporate finance where he spent almost a decade advising Western Austalian resources, industrial and tech companies as they transitioned from early stage companies to the public markets and beyond.

As Principal of Jane Harries & Associates, Jane has 25 years Human Resources experience internationally across a range of organisations and sectors including manufacturing, energy, retail and hospitality.

She has held senior executive roles extensive experience in business integration, mergers and acquisitions. Jane has a particular interest in aligning individual, network and organisational performance to achieve outcomes through a focus on people and strategy development.
Celine is a Doctor of Pharmacy. She has over 12 years of experience in numerous international pharmaceutical companies, including Bayer and Genzyme, where she occupied various roles in Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Operations. Her experience also includes cell therapy and regenerative medicine, and medical devices.

Implementing robust processes and knowledge from big pharma into small start-up is now the core of her interest. She currently works at Resonance Health, a UWA spin-off, and has recently launched her own consulting company, Up Compliance.
    
Matt is a biomedical engineering researcher with experience in invention and  early stage commercialisation of medical devices.​He did his mechanical engineering degree at the University of Western Australia and is finalising his PhD at Curtin University, developing a new expandable orthopaedic screw.

This year, Matt will start  a MedTech research fellowship across Curtin University and St John of God Hospital. Matt was a director of Cervical ChinUp Pty Ltd, developing a novel neck brace.
Maud is an R&D and commercialisation executive with 20 years multinational, listed, private, start-up, incubator and consulting experience in the life sciences industry.

She has invented and/or developed a wide range of technologies, including drugs, devices, biologics, digital health, veterinary, complementary medicines, cosmetics and nutraceuticals.

Maud was Chief Scientific Officer for ASX-Listed entities, R&D executive for Bayer HealthCare and Director for multiple commercialization consultancies. Maud is Project Manager for Accelerating Australia and passionate about empowering biomedical entrepreneurs.
KRISTEN HOUSTON

Kristen received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from the University of Western Australia.

She has a diverse range of experience across a number of industries and previously worked at John Beech & Associates on a number of commercialization projects.

Kristen is currently the project officer for Accelerating Australia where she is involved in the communications, events and general support.
